Kaiserstuhl Conservation Park

Nestled amongst the Barossa Ranges lies Kaiserstuhl Conservation Park, a small 403 hectare park. The ideal destination for avid bushwalkers, Kaiserstuhl has two popular walking trails surrounded by beautiful landscapes. The trails pass by creeks, rocky outcrops, low levelled forest as well as open grassland. The Stringybark Loop gives walkers a taste of range of flora and fauna in the park while the Wallowa Hike takes walkers on an adventure to see the rock formations and pause at a scenic lookout.

The views from the park are like nothing you’ve seen before, looking over the ranges all the way to the well known Barossa Valley. If you’re wanting to spot some Australian wildlife dusk and dawn are the best times. Kangaroos can often to be found feeding in the early morning and late afternoon where as echidnas and possums can be found at dusk.
