Snapper Rocks

One of the best surfing hot spots on the Gold Coast, Snapper Rocks located in the Rainbow Bay southern Corner is a must-see destination. Home to the annual Quiksilver pro surfing tour, Snapper Rocks offers clean waves and some of the best barrels on the coast. Snapper Rocks is also the starting point for the super bank, which is a man-made surf break travelling all the way to Coolangatta.

If you're not a surfer yourself, you can spend some time on the beach watching the pros show off their best tricks. When the weather is good you'll often find hoards surfers flocking to the beach and waiting to catch the perfect wave.
