Sand Tobogganing

Run up the top of sandy hill and dive down some of the biggest sand dunes in Queensland. Moreton Island has a range of sand dunes perfect for boarding and tobogganing, including Little Sand Hills, Big Sand Hills and The Desert. Make sure you get a good run up to propel yourself down the dune and feel the thrill of this natural adventure.

Those looking for a little more of a challenging thrill, strap on a sand board and surf down the steep dunes. If you’re after a smooth ride down the hill it is best to use a waxed masonite board that has been correctly waxed and buffed. This is one of the most exciting activities Moreton Island has to offer!
